Recently, in a store, I tried on a Normandy and Monroe raincoat and immediately fell in love with it. Â It is just a simple, classic raincoat made of Ventile, which, as explained at their website, was invented by the British durring WWII. Â It is a breathable, water proof fabric. Â The coat has a clever system of dealing with pockets. Â The lining snaps in and out. Â (I like that--no fiddling with buttons or zippers.) Â The company, run by two young men out of Little Rock, has made great inroads in a very short time. Â I found their website to be of interest and so am sharing it with you. Â Normandy and Monroe They make a a variety of attractive coats. Â I think it is well worth your time to peruse. Â I had never heard of the company before.
