Nordstrom's Brand Clothing

Does anyone know anything about Nordstrom brand items?

I was thinking of picking this up:

That's a nice jacket, albeit a bit overpriced for a house brand.

I tend to like the John W Nordstrom stuff. The fabrics and generally nice with the build quality being okay. That said, $700 for that jacket is way too high for a JWN. If you can wait a little while I'm sure they will close them out for much less.

I've seen a lot of Nordstrom house label suits and jackets over the past year at a Nordstrom Rack and I must say, the fabrics are generally very nice and quality OK. I've never bought anything, because (1) the cut isn't optimal for me and (2) I think even the outlet store prices may be too high. I'm very interested to know who makes their suits/jackets.
