It seemed cheesy to offer to pay Ed on April 1. After all, promising to pay is (at least for some of us) equivalent to actually paying.

FWIW, the club did prevent me from various other purchases. I thank you all for the infusion of willpower.

Well I bought a few things but I assure you the total cost was quite low (<$200). I think there is no doubt that the best exit prize goes to shikar for the Chapels (and Vales and Panerai...).

The boots are going back (thought they had a stacked heel, which I could have a cobbler lower, but they don't. I can't wear the 1.5" heels because of my back). Am I back in?
