I have to disagree with you. Paying someone else to do basics that you could easily do yourself is a waste of money.
Learn to be a miser and you'll have earned money just by saving it. D.I.Y. excersizes your mind and develops hand-eye coordination.
Why rot on a sofa watching TV when you can rot on the sofa listening to the TV and sew a few buttons in the process.

To each his own, I guess. I would rather spend the (precious little) free time I get doing things that I enjoy, and I can assure you that sewing my clothes does not figure anywhere. Plus, I do not own a TV -- it is hard to sew when reading a book or climbing a mountain. [IMG]

Both of these are really good sides to the argument. I'll decide at some point in the month if it's worth it to me to try some minor repairs. Either way, I'm not buying anything new, so I'm in for March (at least)! About halfway through day one and I'm still alive...maybe this won't be as hard as I thought.

Count me in. I have some small repairs like swapping buttons that I can do myself and nothing I HAVE to buy right now.

Now, when I say "Screw you guys and this 'No Purchase' deal", I mean it with the utmost love and respect. [IMG]

Spent an hour last night extending the cuffs on a camel jacket I bought on B&S in February.

Just a reminder for the rest of you to decide before March 04. That's when I will get the official player list up. There has to be more of you willing to make a 27 day commitment. Ring in please. [IMG]

Count me in. I was in the previous one, but went on a little tear over this last week. Time to maintain the control again.

Is an official list of players for March going to be posted here? The month is about 1/3 of the way over already...proud to say I'm still going strong.

Sorry, I've been so busy over here I dropped the ball. I'll do it tonight. My apologies.

Great, thanks!....I just realized I hadn't seen much activity in this thread in a while. I think the Jan/Feb thread had a lot more steam for a while, so I wanted to make sure this one didn't die off. [IMG]

Still in, but it was real tough last week when, as soon as I entered, an oxblood belt in my size went up on B&S and I couldn't buy it. Terrible, terrible, terrible as my new oxblood shoes (ordered last month) will arrive shortly and I have no belt!
