Good luck to you dude. And to all the guys playing this month.

I won't be participating though, since I'm planning a new order later this month. But last month's club (even though I flunked out after a week) did help me at least tone down my spending.

I was in for March and didn't make it. Knowing that I have a trip coming up where shopping will be hard to resist, I'm not getting in only to get out in a couple of weeks. I will exercise some restraint though.

I am IN. I need help. It's out of control. Today I was at one of my fav Thrift stores. Saw a Canali Proposta Double Breast in med dark green. Jacket fit me like a glove When I looked inside the pants.... W A R N I N G .....if you are eating....read no further.... ...you have been warned..... ....when I looked in the pants, I saw what seemed to be urine, ***** and God-Only-Knows-What-else, crusted inside the pants. I almost puked. no sale. Walking home to the sanctity of our beloved forum, I already knew this Thrift Store thing has got to stop. Count me IN for April

DISCLAIMER: I do have some things arriving in April, that were purchased in March...So I hope that is OK with the group. When they arrive, I'll just keep it to myself. But I will not buy a thing in April. I will honestly report any weakness or mutiny.

That's right; shoes don't count.

btw, a clarification for the committee's consideration: do items purchased with Amex membership rewards points count? no cash changes hands

also, full disclosure - i have two orders (MTM shirts, shoes) coming in with an ETA of april. both orders are fully paid already. i'm pretty sure that doesn't disqualify me, but i'm just putting it out there

what part of your income goes towards clothing? I think to the regulars here, its > recommended 10% of remuneration which goes towards grooming.

sounds like a good topic for its own thread. for me, 10% sounds about right. some months are uncommonly high, like feb and march for me, but it's canceled out by (hopefully) a zero spend april
