^ Cool idea! Reszo told me a few months ago that they don't have hatchgrain, so the MTO would have to involve them sourcing it. Other makers don't seem to have a problem getting it, but I assume it's not a leather that they're used to working with.

Actually it's been a PITA for AS to source it. You can probably guess the tannery yourself if I say that the deliveries are unpredictable and often delayed...

I love the hatchgrain look but not sure I'd want to be the guinea pig for Vass' first try using it nor would I want to wait around for them to source it

I can go for a chukka MTO too, provided I can order in a wide size. I might be in the minority, but I like both the examples I have seen in both U and F last...

Alright some ideas emerging from the thread so far - let me know which you'd get behind...

    1. F-last chukka boot in medium brown suede
    2. F-last 3-eyelet derby in medium brown suede or antique cognac scotchgrain
    3. F- or U-last austerity brogue boot (burgundy or black calf?)
    4. F-last Old English II in burgundy or oxblood calf
    5. P2-last Osloer boot in antique cognac calf

    ?

    Pricing questions:

How much would a single MTO price through NMWA be?

How much would GMTO price be, and is it possible to order a wide size if I take part in the GMTO?

GMTO would be same price as RTW on our site - obviously price of boots would be a bit higher. Let's determine the styles and details and we can price them out !

Single-pair MTO carries a small surcharge and varies based on potential added options - that's best discussed via email given all variables

Fair enough, but is there a "same width" stipulation?

My models of interest are the following:

London Chukka, F or U last, dark brown leather or dark brown suede.
Double monk, F or U last, oxblood or Boudreaux leather
Double monk extra model, U last, navy leather.

What kind of sole was being discussed for the chukka?

I don't think so - I think we can split the order between different widths. I can double check.
