No drinking week

i've been thinking about doing this too, perhaps after the holidays...had a rough fri/sat due to a wedding. So I took sunday and monday off. Will drink 4 or so beers tonight, not drinking is for the birds

I remember I got mine out right after moving home from undergrad. I was repainting my old room the next day while doped up on hydrocodone. Let's just say I missed a couple spots.

And re: no drinks for a week... I suppose I do this occasionally without really thinking about it. There is nothing like having a cold beer after a long absence. It really makes it taste better. All things in moderation I guess...

+1 Although I am starting to sober up/get a hangover. Started drinking at about three this afternoon, had to stop because I have an essay in tomorrow afternoon and a thousand words and references still to go. I will probably have a few beers as soon as it is in. And maybe one to help with any writers block. Still good luck to you, a week dosn't seem much of a challenge though, I do a month or so every once in a while, maybe try for that? I don't usually make it, but it makes me feel better, and it makes the drinking cheaper for a bit when I am back on it.
