I'm a big fan of their un-indicted co-chronometer.

"Fashion" watches are like cheap toys you'll get tired of soon enough. Get something from an actual watch company.

For the money you can get a Seiko 5 automatic watch. A bit more and you'll be looking at Seiko, Christopher Ward, Hamilton, Poljot etc... There have been many threads on inexpensive watches, do a search and you'll find many specific suggestions.

I have a rotolog with the bamboo. It's a fun watch for the price and I think I get more comments on it than any other watch I own.

Huh, I would have thought you would have preferred the Deep Throat model.

The problem with Nixon watches... every so often they lose eighteen minutes.

My friend wears a bright orange rotolog. I think it's a cool watch but I don't like the colour... Works for him with his bright kicks and bape stuff I guess. The more conservatime trims are nice, and although not a "real" watch, its very nice and seems to have held up very well (especially considering the way its treated)

i was considering the dark wood, but if the band doesn't fit can it be adjusted and still fit flush?

i bought a nixon rotolog with the wood finish a couple of years ago. Obviously you're not getting it as a timepiece moreso than for the cool looking band because that thing is a ***** to tell time with. If it's the middle of the day, I can't tell if it's 2:30 or 3:30. It's nice enough for casual wear. The batteries died on me after about a year. Be aware that it is powered by 3 batteries, so it will be a bit to replace. I think it was overpriced for $200.

so you wouldn't wear this model watch (or the black/gold/leather one) with a suit?

Depends on your age, style and purpose of the suit.

If you're on the rather young side and wearing a more "fashion-forward" slim fitting suit for a night on the town, or a wedding with a bunch of your buddies around your age, I don't see why not. I would not wear that watch to work in a professional environment because it is not a professional watch. If I saw a client or colleage wearing the watch I would think, not most appropriate, but that's me.
