I remember saving for months for my first pair of jordans (white 5s) and shlepping to the other side of town to buy them and save $10 ?

My first pair was also the 5s (black) when they initially came out, except mine were Nike's "Sky Jordan" kids version. I was in elementary school and remember feeling inferior to my older brothers who had the real deal.

Need to get a pair of 5s for nostalgia's sake one of these days.

I still can't afford the air max '97's

Oh also, the first AJ’s I wanted were the black/cement 3’s that my friend got when they first came out. It took me a year to save up for a pair so I got the next gen white cement 4’s.

It took me until 2020 to finally get those black/cement 3’s!!

Nike app had a bunch of "mystery drops" this morning. Just old air maxes and some blazers, nothing I can't get from the Jimmy Jazz next door.

Man, great year for dunks but I can't hit on a dang pair. Really regret not picking up the plums (or any of the ugly duckling packs).
