EDIT: Ended up working out fine in the end.

For Bodega, the damage was done. Because of the payment issues, it took 45 minutes for the shoe to sell out completely, which for a major release is an eternity.

“If a shoe like this doesn’t sell out in less than 15 minutes, it’s considered a failure,” Mr. Gordon said. “It’s really disappointing because we did all this to give the ordinary customers a shot.”

TBF, the sneakers are pretty ugly.

Wonder what Nike sees in their data. A year or two ago, I used to wake up on the weekends and monitor like 12 sites to try to hit on a pair. Would go months without winning anything, so now I just sign up for the draw on SNKRS and just buy via goat/stockx/ebay if the prices aren't ridiculous. Can't imagine I'm the only one.

Honestly, sort of like the Alden rare shell game. Group of people who get in on most runs, and outside of two retailers that I frequent, I don't even bother anymore because I know I won't get a pair.

Outside of ebay, any site to sell used shoes (and Hypebeast gear like Supreme ts)? Have some oldies that I'd like to sell.
