How have you sized your React 87s compared to your size in other Nike models? I've heard mixed reviews and would love to hear your thoughts. I'm just about a sure 9.5 across all Nike models (Jordans, Air Max, Lebrons/other Basketball models) and have been debating between my usual 9.5 or try a size down to 9. I've seen/heard how having too much extra room can make the ripstop fabric look ugly/crinkly.

I take same size (11) in all my Nike - Air Max 1 and some Jordans tend to be on the snug side, but I haven't sized up for those. I take 11 in RE87 as well. I don't think I would want a tighter fit than that. The whole point of that sail fabric is to be wrinkly and crinkly - not sure why I'd want to avoid that.

Thanks for the reply, Greg. Yeah that thin rip stop fabric has no choice but to be crinkly. I guess the complaints are that it looks too collapsed if too roomy, but I could picture the shoe looking like a stuffed sausage if undersized. I might jump in to see what the hype is about soon. How have you been liking your pairs?

I love mine. If I could make them work with all my outfits, I'd wear them every day. Crazy light, fun to mix and match with different socks. I don't know what it is about this particular design, but it really resonates with me.

I can barely match my shirt with my pants, I don't know how you guys are matching socks with transparent sneakers.

I think it's just a matter of how using white, grey or black socks can essentially change the colorway of those particular styles.

That said... I believe there was an article (maybe by Jian) on highsnob or another site on the topic of best socks for your react (or something to that effect) - going over 10 options :revolve:

Does anyone know of a website which has vintage Nike models from the 80s & 90s?

I wear a 10 across most Nikes, all Air Max models, AJ1s, assorted trainers, Metcons, Flyknits, etc. Had to size down to a 9.5 on the Reacts. Totally depends how you usually wear your Nikes though. I size them like running shoes, preferring almost a thumb's width of room at the toe, and you don't want that much space on these because of the fabric. If you wear your Nikes snug with your toes up close to the edge, than TTS should be fine.

@willy cheesesteak turned me on to it and I’ve used it 4 or 5 times. Everything went smoothly every time.

Yea stockx is legit. Someone in the JE thread bought a pair of Nike collabs that were new/deadstock and they didn't come in the condition advertised and stockx refunded him and took care of everything.
