    do not recommend it

tech in it is old and the modern tech (flyknit) do not provide enough upper support, lack of laces also hinders lockdown

not all old designs are bad. the jordans from 97-98 still can hold up with today's latest soles.

the 95/96 flights weren't great for ball to begin with

True, there's always exceptions, like those Js. One off the top of my head I'm guessing would be the air go lwp. Can still compete with todays tech. And they came out before these Kidd abominations.

Meant more to say 95 flights in particular were awful: bad traction, clunky, the opposite of responsive. I don't care if it was one of the first to use zoom air it still sucked as a basketball shoe. Don't know why anyone would want to base a new shoe off those.

    agreed.

I did enjoy the zoom flight five that came out the next year. Granted I got em for $29.99 at the outlets. The good old days of discounted Nikes.

I had the 95 flights. They just sucked. Nothing like the flights released prior. I mean alright they were okay at best, but dude so many better and doper flights dropped in the years before.

In 95 I was 11, so maybe I didn't know better and my JJJ Mavs obsession just got the better of me.

I feel like the younger you are, the less you worry about tech back then, I used to play ball in running shoes back in high school without issues.

But these days, if I wear in some old tech that doesn't have much padding, my knees would hurt for a week.

I really love the 95s midsole and i am waiting for those flyknit version to go on a deep discount but mainly for casual-wear.

And by the way, Adidas just surpassed Jordan Brand as the #2 brand in the US with a market share of 11%. With that said, Nike still has 40%+ in the US but not many predicted this was going to happen. Adidas really riding the boost all the way to the moon.
