1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Magista Flyknit soccer cleats announced today. Not a soccer player/fan but it's cool to see Flyknit use continue to expand.

Funny because Adidas announced their Primeknit soccer cleats last week to beat Nike. I guess nothing happened to the knit lawsuit?

Yeah, I couldn't figure out what the final outcome was of that, but I guess Adidas must be in the clear. I've never seen anyone wearing a Primeknit shoe in real life.

Looks like Adidas is even doing multi-color knits with the Samba Primeknit:

Damn, missed out on NDC, they has FK Free for $60 plus some 20% off that too it to $40 something. I could have used another pair or two for that price.

    Also this, liking em.

Kobe 9's came in, I'm pretty impressed. They're a pretty cool shoe overall. Super comfortable just like any other flyknit shoe, although the cushioning is a lot less squishy than the flyknit lunars. The high cut doesn't really bother me since I'm used to wearing stuff like MMM hi tops and side zip boots, plus the really high part is just knit material in the back so it doesn't have any stiffness or real support back there. I imagine if you were hooping in them, the cut wouldn't do a whole hell of a lot to keep you from rolling your ankle. For what it's worth, I think they'd be perfectly reasonable to wear casually with jeans. The high part isn't anywhere close to as huge as on margiellas or something like that, if you lace them up high enough it keeps the upper pretty close to your leg so you can just wear your jeans over them rather than do the whole tuck the front of your jeans behind the tongue. Assuming you didn't have a problem wearing any other brightly colored pair of flyknits with jeans, I don't see why these would be a problem.

I also imagine they'd be really good for actually playing basketball in since they're light and comfy and look cool, but I don't hoop as much as I used to so I might not be the best authority. For what it's worth, they've gotten good reviews online in terms of actual performance.

Hell yeah. For a "barefoot" shoe the all white cw should've been first out of the gate. They just need a high top silhouette like the Kobe9's in an all white for some tube sock steez. Throw the red and blue stripe around the ankle too.

They either aren't allowed to sell Primeknit shoes in the United States or they've decided the legal battle against Nike on their native soil isn't worth it. Hence the complete lack of Primeknit related merchandise on this side of the Atlantic. I mean, you can only find this stuff in European markets.

The presence of "Volt" in the name sort of threw me, TBH...
