It's not out yet and they aren't going to make anyone else wear Kobes sig on the court before him.

All that is Nike marketing though, come on now, you know better than that.

On the 9th and other than the black/grey Kobe was wearing before, there are no other colorways released yet. The high-tops are actually limited edition, the regular Kobe9s going to be low-top or mid-top and Nike hasn't release any official pics of those. Kind of weird.

Dunno if these are the normal mid top Kobe's RFX was talking about or just some weird chopped version, but it's something different.

Those aren't it, it's just the high-top and they just folded down the ankle.

I hear ya, man. It's all marketing. Even those who play in low tops or even some high tops wrap their ankles like crazy. No one wants a career ending injury or anything.

Interesting direction with those XI midsole.

I went to the Nike Outlet in San Diego last night. First time going there, and man, felt weird since it was the last exit before entering Mexico. Saw a bunch of Flyknit Frees for $90, and Flyknit Lunars too. I think the Flyknit Frees may be dipping down to around $50 sooner or later.

Flyknit Frees apparently didn't sell well. I really like mine, but seems they never caught on the way Racers, Trainers, and Lunars did.

In general Flyknits have been disappointing for a while—so many crappy Flyknit colorways lately, it's ridiculous. Hopefully things improve with the next wave.

I think KicksUSA has them for $130. Maybe that's the black though.

Well, NYC trip completed and the Arktos did really well. It ended up only snowing very lightly and sporadically but there was plenty of slush and ice on the streets. They're warm and waterproof enough, and really light and as comfortable as any lunar soled sneaker for walking long distances. Plus they're cheap enough not to give a shit where you step in them...unlike, say some EG Galways

jet get your normal Nike size. I'm an 11.5, 12 in Flyknit Free, and got 11.5 in the Arktos.

I did what Chet told me to do on the Arktos sizing. It is sized a bit large, but perfect for the thick socks I used with it. Also, the inner liner really grips your foot so if it's a half size large you won't feel it

I tried sizing down half, thinking they might run big, but they were a little too snug. Regular socks. YMMV.

Anyone got a fit pic with the Arktos? Keen to see how they look.

FK frees are already sub $50 in Australia at the outlets. GF and sister got black and whites, I didn't like the colourway they had available in my size so I passed.
