RFX have you tried the Free Trainer V3s?

For overall cushion, I thinkt he Vomero 7 are the most padded. Check that pair out too. I haven't personally ran in them but I think that is Nike all-around most cushioned/padded running shoe.

I tried them in the store but very quickly. I actually have a pair on it's way, should be here by this week. It'll be my main trainer shoe for plyo and HIIT so I can give a better feedback on how it is by next week. This pair right?

Yeah, looking for something for similar use. I've got a pair of Lunar Edge 13's right now. Might just stick with the lunar sole though... the Montreal seems about halfway between the racer and trainer.

That's funny, I got the Lunar Edge 13 coming in as well because the price dropped with the Lunar Edge 14 coming out, I figure it is worth a try. How to you like them? I only got to try them on very briefly and they feel much closer to the ground than the Free Trainers. If you are used to thinner sole but want to consider the free sole, the Free Haven 3.0 might be a better choice or at least worth a consideration.

The pair I want to try is the TR1 though, I just think they look good. If you want to stick with a Lunar sole, this is a good consideration.

Is it not possible to find a pair of Roshe in size 13? I'm not looking for below retail, but at retail would be nice.

I still have my first pair of Free 3.0s (the V1 or whatever they were called at the beginning several years ago) and I still wear them for cardio :slayer:

Finally caved and ordered a pair of Flyknit Trainers (black/white). Pretty stoked, although I can't really comprehend why they cost as much as they do.

You don't really need to run to wear "running" shoes.
Blazers were a good go to casual shoe for me in HS though.

I'd check out the store, their stock is usually much better than online. If there is a store called Shie (khhttp://www.shiekhshoes.com/default.aspx) in your area, they usually have them in stock for retail.

The Lunar Edge is a pretty good all around gym shoe IMO, but I'm coming from some much older New Balances so maybe I'm just easily satisfied.

Thanks. The Nike store on Michigan Avenue is closed for renovation - that's the only place I'd checked. There's a Shiekh shoes a few blocks from my work though. Going to give them a call tomorrow :)

I guess so, running shoes just look so "futuristic" these days that IMO they look pretty goofy unless you're using them for what they're intended for.

They're comfy as shit though, I was all about the AM360 when they first came out.

I don't really find them that futuristic outside of the crazy colorways in which I try to avoid anyways.

Now if Nike would just make this a general release...
