Wear mine all the time when I'm running. They function well and look cool as fuck. Just like the rest of the gyak stuff. If you can't afford it though you can always stick to getting your workout gear at tk maxx/Ross like the rest of the plebs. HTH.

Think about 1 to 1.5 sizes below what you'd normally get from nike. I wear small in normal nike stuff, mostly large and medium with the gyakusou range.

Black ones are on sale at NDC for a pretty good price (in very limited sizes). Not really sure if I like these, though. Better than paying over a thousand for them, I suppose. Nike resellers are hilarious.

They don't wear well with denim. Better paired with chino or tech pants.

I've never owned a pair of Jordans; how do the 5s fit?

well, much as it hurts to say this, I don't think the fly knits work for me. I constantly get blisters on the toes and the midfoot (I'm a midfoot striker and overpronator) and I get more knee and shin pain - is it because of less stability and cushioning? still love the looks of them and they'll still get used for non-running training.

so I'm looking for good running shoes. I know nike's rep is the worst for serious runners but every other runners shoe out there looks godawful. it's like they do it on purpose. I did some research and am intrigued by the UC Lunarglide 4's. I still don't want a heavier shoe but I guess I really need the cushioning. this seems to be the next step up over the FK but still fairly light

Would you consider Newtons? Once you start running in a good running shoe, you'll never care what they look like ever again...

How do you guys size on Roshes? I'm a Braddock 9.5D, but my flyknits are a 10.5. Air Max 90 I'm a 10.

I wouldn't say Nike's rep is the worst for serious runners. You just have to look at their right line. I have run in the Structure Triax for over a decade (~30 miles a week) and I think the current version (16) are fantastic, especially for over-pronators. I have also run in the lunar glide 4's and the flyknit lunar 1's, which both use mostly the same mid-sole. Lunar glides offer a little more support but neither are very durable.

thanks guys. I've actually not heard about Structures before so I need to look into those.

I forgot to mention that I plan to use these as my training shoes while I'm on trips so I need it to double as a fairly stylish walking-about casual shoe so that I don't have to pack a pair of those. that's the main reason why I'm not looking for anything garish
