Haha, it'll be a challenge to figure out how to work them into a non-shorts fit! I just want to wear them, though, so I'll have to figure something out.

I want to see Synth wear flyknits as well as the SF reaction from it(I think you could do drop crotch pants or something with a loose top and taper below the knee like some soccer pants). That orange colorway is still available in a lot of sizes for both trainers and racers at Finishline. I'm watching a pair of white ones from a local on ebay as well as the all black ones. Still waiting on the pair from Portland Running though :(

I think the sleeve is less about water resistance and more about not having that shit move and fall off your arm. Me and my friend ran Lake Merced this morning and the velcro on his came loose and his iPhone would have hit the floor if his elbows weren't bent to catch it.

This thread is a bad idea for me. Have definitely decided that that my next shoe purchase is going to be either the volt or orange flyknit trainers.

Also - you don't necessarily need the sensors now for Nike+, right? A friend of mine said that the iphone app alone (using gps undoubtedly) accomplishes the same purpose as the previous little dealies you stick in the soles of your shoes.

Yeah, I believe the Nike App on the iPhone (also available on Android now iirc) is free and you can use it with any other shoe really. I like the GPS watch because it comes with a shoe pod sensor so when I lose reception it continues tracking my run. I can also connect the watch to a heart rate monitor if I wanted to. There have also been morning where the GPS could not lock in a signal so I had to rely recording my whole run via shoe pod. I have heard others having the same problem with the Iphone App and they are stuck running w/o it, can't really complain much since its free now. I believe the Ipod Nano has a pedometer built in that can connect with NikePlus too, not sure if it had to be connected to the Nike shoe pod though but since it's free now, it's hard to complain about it.

Every time I try to customize some frees I end up with something hideously ugly. Too many little clicky options for me. :foo:

I think the free 3.0 v4 sucks balls, the free run +3 and free run 4.0 muuuch better.

I tried on a bunch, and like RFX said, I had uncomfortable creasing in all of them except the 3.0 v4

    Nike swag:

Hooded tech/training vest (one of my most-worn "athletic" items)
    Dri fit running tank
    flyknits
    (isaora drop crotch cargo short)

Suddenly, I understand the importance of..."Kicks."

yeah, i put the training shoes and the app through their paces. it's definitely a challenging workout, at least for my fitness level. the sensors do a fairly good job of making you bust out a proper rep and keep an accurate count. but if you wanted to just download the app and work out without a nike+ training shoe, and just follow the exercises, it would be fine.

for the running, i had the nike run app without the sensors a few years ago and if all you care about is distance and time, it will do just fine even without any nike+ compatible shoes

    Hi

These colorways can probably work on the Free Run+ 3's too.

I like that, looks very comfortable. Looks like gyakusou too.

As for IDs, I tend to make Air Jordan inspired colorways like simple true blues IIIs, concord or space Jam XIs, or grapes VIII like the one picture below (not mine).

I just like to make them though, I rarely pull the trigger and order. I bought two pairs of dunks a few years back though, pretty awesome and actually comes with dust bags.

Went to the NIke Town in SF today, they had the all black flyknit but no size 9.5

    New shipment supposedly in October.

Synthese makes everything look good btw, even orange shoes

Also, after walking around the city I realized I much rather be wearing the likes of Nike x Undercover collab much the same as how Synthese mentioned shoes fitting too small. Just for comfort sake and striving for a clean cut athletic aesthetic that has emphasis on tech plus fabric seems to be the "end game" for me. I mean this maybe better for RFT, but I think if Nike keeps up the collab and comes out with new stuff it maybe the new direction for SW&D outside of the glam and grunge looks.
