They are the safest colorway IMO and that's why they seem to be more on the boring side.

Which iteration of the frees/flyknits would be best suited for lifting? Normally wear Vans (flat) but want a shoe that can handle some light cardio too

What kind of lifting? I wouldn't dare squat or deadlift (heavy) in any iteration of the Flyknit, but if I absolutely had to I would use the Lunar as a cross-trainer.

And I personally think Flyknits should be loud so I agree that CW's like the wolf grey are too subdued.
