oh dear... Zillion in Antwerp.

This place is still sorely missed by a LOT of people, as there isnt a place that has been able to match it in the benelux.. The sheer amount of lights, animations, animators, (animals

) , and other effects made this place a trip everytime you got there.

I went to the Tunnel once, I think it was 1995, and I was so shocked by what I saw I wrote an article about it.

I used to like Pravda in maybe '99, 2000, or thereabouts. Spa was good. Manton is right about Tunnel. It was an eye-opener, all right.

Did anyone go to the China Club back in the early-mid 90's? I was new to the city then so didn't know the difference between a B&T club and a "good" one. Not that any club seems like a good idea anymore.

Is there a club in Munich called Eight Seasons? That was epic in its day, by far the best I had ever been to.

The Riverfront Saloon from 2000-2003. Five people died at the bar during that span but damn, it was a great time. Everytime.

Also, The Catch from 1998-1999

I sorta liked it except that rave culture was always about guidos not wearing any shirts and that's annoying.

All gone now:

Trax in DC, in the early '90s

The Starry Night Club in Portland in the late '80s (shutdown after the owner killed an employee and dumped the body in the Willamette - good times)

CBGB in the early '80s - blew my mind when I was a starry eyed kid in from the 'burbs, I just wish I remember more about it
