Hows the fitting on EVEREST jacket?

If the pattern is the same as it was a few years ago, I would size down one. I'm a 37 chest and took a 34 in this (or 44 in European sizing).

Hi!

I have a worn out Mallory which has got big holes in the pockets and the lining after four years. How should I expect to have this jacket? I think its a bit strange that it "falls apart" after quite a few years.

What do you guys think about the cameraman as a replacement for the mallory jacket? Is it warm? Its partly Harris tweed? Quality?

Did you wear your Mallory every day in difficult conditions? I’m amazed that it fell apart.

The HT body of the Cameraman is warm, but not the Mackintosh shoulders and sleeves. That said, I can wear mine with a thick sweater and be warm down to about 35F.

Yes, I have worn it every day for a long time. The coat is still looking good, but there are holes in the pockets and the lining. I will try to fix it.

Thanks! I love the mallory, so hopefully someone is able to fix it.

I’m surprised- I have a Mallory tweed waistcoat and it seems practically bulletproof.

How would you compare the Mallory and Cameraman when it comes to how warm it is?

I wear my mallory with a thick roll neck and be warm down to - 10. Could I do the same with the cameraman?
