    Many thanks, Sir!
I found the other blog (down page) but had no idea on timescales for release.

Well that is interesting- the thought process of "Inspired by Noyce's jacket" to proceeding to cut and pastte parts of two other vintage jacket to recreate a better Noyce jacket.

I wonder if that is how he always works?

And it would be interesting to find some pictures of Noyce in his jacket out there.

I recently got the navy one. Fits better than I ever anticipated. I'm a 50 in all NC including cameraman, except the Mallory (52). The fit hugs the body but not uncomfortably. Plenty of room for layering. I'm really loving it. The cotton outer is just the right thickness. It feels tough but not heavy. The leather is buttery soft. Sheepskin collar is a nice touch and is quite high so will keep the wind out. I don't use the hood, but that's just personal preference. I really love this one and in my opinion will be a classic for many, many years. I'll be wearing it in another 20. :)

The one thing that was a bit of a turn off was the elastic in the sleeves (cuffs), but I'm sure there was good reason for it. Also, no dry clean, no wash. I think you're just supposed to spot clean it.

^Yeah the spot cleaning gets to me with these jackets. Same with the Camerman.

Is there some sort of coating on the mackintosh? My wife says it smells kinda rubbery.

That DB - and I just bought one - is too long in the arms for me. Is that something you feel is happening with your DB as well?

Also, I've read the last few pages but couldn't find the info - apologies if I've missed it - how do the Dope Factory people ship to the US? In short, chance of US customs hitting me with a bill high?

Both items I bought from them were hit with US Customs charges. UPS will charge you based on the tariff.
