Finally found a pair of the linen denim naval trousers (minus the braces) from SS11 in my size. These will be the perfect summer alternative to jeans.

^ they look good for the summer and you can pick up the braces easily. Am I right in thinking his trousers tend to be very TTS ie a 36 would measure pretty much 36?

On the subject of spring/summer pieces a Chittagong jacket arrived through the post today - I picked it up BNWT from ebay for a decent price - I'm not sure which season it's from - cotton rather than this season's linen but otherwise identical and in sand/tan. It'll be a while until I wear it, but should be ideal for the spring and early summer.

Yes, very TTS. They will measure a little smaller if they are higher rise, but it corresponds nicely. I like my jeans to measure 34", and 34W in Cabourn is right on the money every time.

I should clarify that I heard the Harris tweed trousers measure a bit small(?), but all of the cotton trousers I have all measure up pretty much the same. ARN Mercantile does such a nice job making trousers for Cabourn.

I bought both the tweed 4-pleats and the turner canvas pants at the NY sample sale, but you can find a wide variety of Cabourn pants at 14 oz. in Berlin (probably largest Cabourn selection I've ever seen in a single store). Also, there were a bunch on sale at superdenim during their Cabourn sample sale, but I think that was taken offline. Barneys also carried the turner canvas this season and the linen ones that Zissou got last season. Ushowu and LN-CC will also carry a bunch.
