I slightly prefer the military, but having said that I'd go for the blue, because the military is too close to my cameraman. Nice coat.

The blue will probably be more versatile.

Right? Probably a fit pic. I've seen the entire collection for FW12 (unfortunately, we were not able to get in to shoot for the blog, but if we have a UK correspondant willing to "sacrifice" themselves to do an interview with Nigel at his workshop, please feel free to PM me. We have a good lead for that. Also, for either of the Levis XX brands (both LVC and made and Crafted.) I met the sales director for Europe, and he may be able to get us some access, but I need boots on the ground.\

Zissou, you are one flight from SF. I expect you to be at the 10th anniversary party repping the repro.

If anyone got a storm parka in 50 I might be up for trading it with my 48. It fits me quite well, but a little tight, I would prefer a more relaxed fit. But I'll keep it and wear it a lot for sure anyway.

I'll be trying both out when they arrive and will let you guys know which King George I end up keeping.

Even though I have the Military Cameraman, I feel like the King George displays the true essence of the jacket more so than the blue. Even tho the blue is more versatile... Also, I'm getting the Military one for $350 while the blue is costing $700! haha

In hindsight, maybe I should've gotten the Tan Waxed / Houndstooth Tweed for my Cameraman but then out of practicality, I ended up with the Military Cameraman as well. So maybe my theme is just an Military theme this year!

I believe NC is in the UK (newcastle) and LVC is in Amsterdam.

Heading to Europe next month, but my boots will be in Amsterdam only long enough to make my connection to Milan. I could possibly be available for "sacrifices" there, if a need exists.

Typically the Medium is 50. At Barneys, it was marked as Small but it was a 46.

Just got my Mallory in, and it truly is a magnificent piece, incredibly warm and a perfect fit! If I were to get one of the harris tweed vests, would I need the same size? or, with the absence of a shoulder constraint, would it be ok to go down a size?
