Context's sale is a really good one--but tbh their choice to only mark down Cabourn 30% was disappointing to say the least.

This fear nearly caused my delay. In the end I measured a Raglan sleeved Thom Browne Trench Coat. It fits me well and obviously can be layered underneath so I bought the size that mirrored it.

Context has a lot of nice looking items on this sale and not just from NC.

I talked to them before purchasing and they sold 3 Cameraman jackets today plus a lot of other NC items.

I had been coveting the NC Cameraman for a long time and 30% and the right colorway was enough to get me off the sidelines and into the game.

If I like the fit of the Cameraman I plan to grab this next. Thoughts? Anyone own this duffel? How thick is the wool? Anyone know the weaver of the wool (I heard a rumor that it was Fox Mills)? Happy New Year.

The Mallory came today but unfortunately was too small. I tried a 52 on locally that was too big, especially in sleeve length, so I assumed 50 would be OK.
The store won't give refunds so it's ANOTHER Cameraman for me, they only have the sky blue and the orange so I've gone for the orange.
I can't really justify having two Cameraman jackets but with having a brown and an orange they should look totally different.

The Mallory has already gone back so too late for that.

I was offered a store credit but I am not unhappy with another Cameraman, as I said, when you see them side by side the orange and brown are completely different animals. I could always sell one of the Cameraman jackets on UK ebay for more or less what I paid if I decide two of them is excessive!
