I'm looking at a Nigel Cabourn piece (cameraman, if that matters) and some sites claim that a 46 is an extra small, yet on other sites I see a 44 as an XS. Can someone clear this up for me?

Thinking more about it, Adam, I would bet that you are a 52. I'm reliably a 50 (although I've not tried on that shirt) and I wear a S/M in EG.

Hi guys, having tried on the Cameraman Jacket, I'd urge you to go for your regular size, veering to the smaller one if you are in between. That is, if you want to have a more contemporary 'slim' fit (which is almost mandatory if you are slim yourself). I'm 170cm x 64 kgs and 44 was perfect. I could probably wear a 46 but it was slightly bulky.
I am maybe 1 or 2 cm taller than you and 5 pounds heavier, and also went with the 44, so this is good news. I am definitely looking for a slim-ish fit, but one I can wear a thin sweater under. The coat is supposed to arrive tomorrow, but I'll be in LA till thursday, which sucks, so I'll have to wait to get it... I'll post fit pics when I do get it though

^OC just dropped their FW stuff by 25%, and their SS stuff to 50%. I'd pick up the submarine sweater in a heartbeat if it had an actual turtleneck. I think that collar would drive me a little crazy after a while.

Does anyone have experience with Cabourn pants?

Trying to decide if I'd be a 32 or 34.

They are pretty true to size. My 34s measure 34.5".

I am considering a couple of Cabourn jackets the Cameraman in Dark Navy/Grey
    and the Duffle Coat

I am pretty sure that I am a size 48. My question is does anyone know where the wool is sourced for the Duffle Coat? I heard that it was sourced from Fox flannels. Can anyone confirm that the duffle coat uses Fox flannel? Does anyone know the weight/meter of the wool in the duffle coat?

Thanks for the help. I have coveted a Cabourn Camerman jacket for ages. This might be my year.

You own Cabourn pants in a 34? Did you size up intentionally?

Yep, I do, and no, my natural waist is about 34", so I typically wear 32W jeans. I would have sized at 33W, but they only have even sizes.

Exactly. I am in the same boat as you. I was just wondering whether to go up to 34 or down to a 32 and slimmer look.

Do you have any pics rocking the Cabourn pants?

^not really, at the moment, but I can take a couple tomorrow. If it helps, they are all pretty high waisted and full in the leg. I might have considered sizing down to 32W, but these were the only pair in a sample sale, in addition to being extremely rare and at a great price.
