Well after some digging I now know the U in your name is silent. That grants last name isn’t “shoeler” and that he’s not nicks son&current owner. These were just guesses (that seem like very big reaches now that I think about it)

The original question I was trying to figure out that just stemmed from weekend boredom was.. Did Nick ever have kids to pass the company down to or inherit it after creating nicks handmade boots in 1964? Not knowing that answer made me speculate if the current owner was nicks son.

Shuyler is a cool 1st name btw 😎. I want to ask if nick was your grandfather but I heard your dad say in a video he named the Robert after his dad so that’s probably not true either.

Thanks man. It’s been owned by a few different families after Nick. We took over in 2013 and aim to have it for a long time!

Hello @Nicks Boots Shuyler , What are the size limits on rebuilds? I have a pair of Builder Pro's size 13. It's it possible to rebuild them as an 8? Thank you.
Unfortunately the upper is going to be too large for the other dies in the size 8 range. Typically we can go down a size or two but not with that big of a range.

can the double stuffed orders be changed to have the biltrite soles for an up charge or is it only for new orders ?

No. The answer is no. This is what I received when I asked to switch my order to double-stuffed with cat's paw.

"Hello, due to the limited availability of that leather and sole offering, we are unfortunately not able to change existing orders over to it. The Double Stuffed leather is not available on the Cats Paw Sole unfortunately. You can see the available Biltrite sole options here. If you would like to cancel your current order and place a new one, please just let us know and we can take care of the cancellation for you! The lead time would start over, and be 18-24 weeks by doing so."

We have some left, they may have just wanted to make sure we didn’t oversell while they were being promoted over the weekend. If you want to DM me the order number I can change it.

does anybody have pictures of the big heel stack on the hnw last? I went threw the entire thread gallery and couldn’t find any. Would help a lot.. just having doubts that I put too big of a heel stack on a boot with no arch support on my double stuff order.
