Hello!

Looking to order my boots shortly and was wondering what the difference is between the C&W bridle and milled harness leathers. The milled harness appears to be a little textured but is there any practical difference between the two or is it just appearance?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Hi,

Bridle leather is technically stuffed with some more oils in the tanning process but I do not really notice it that much when handling them or seeing the final product. It’s not nearly as pronounced as a latigo, for example. The main difference is that the milled leather does have a little pebbling texture to it.

Thanks! Trying to decide between medium brown or dark brown bridle. What are your thoughts?

Is the ball width and/or toe box the same on HNW vs 55 assuming both are same size? Thank you from the Kitsap Peninsula.

Anyone able to offer sizing advice on the HNW last? I take an 8E in both Alden Trubalance and Viberg 2040… I also have a White’s Semi-Dress in 9F that’s too long and too wide.

There are worse things to be addicted to, I suppose.
