Well, all my photos except for the Red Wing color comparison were shot in the afternoon, for whatever it's worth.
I say afternoon, because the sunlight is a little less direct. Shooting at noon tends to bleach everything out. That’s just rules of thumb… there is a whole huge amount of info on color managing photos, and displays, etc.

I'm loving the look of the 1964 leather. Does anyone have any in roughout yet that they have pictures of?

Well, the family convinced me to change over to the Brown Waxed Flesh. To be honest that was the color that originally caught my eye and brought me onto the Nicks website… but then I liked the 1964 Brown once I started looking around. There are some photos of the 1964 that I really like, and then others not so much. I know it’s usually the lighting situation, but in almost every photo I think the Brown Waxed looks interesting. Plus I love the idea of the rough out durability. Thanks to everyone with their photo posts… my change of heart is not because of any of your photos, in fact just the opposite… it made the choice even harder.

A lateral move. BWF will be a little lighter weight so that may be a plus.

This is pretty great, thanks for the link. The resulting look is exactly what I'm hoping for. Just gonna have to find a way to go "zen" for 5 months while I wait for them. Also, that guy on reddit seems to have run them through a knothole, which I will likely also be doing to mine, at least on the weekends, and during my constant ongoing rennovation of a 190 year old farmhouse....

It does as really well. And we’re more like 4 months right now, fwiw.

that's great about the 4 months.
here's a question... i'm ordering 8" roberts... do you know what the standard measuement for the legs is at the 8" height? I'm assuming the standard sizing will allow for them to not come together, but I have kinda skinny ankles, lower legs, and am a bit concerned about the fit... is that a published diameter for the boots? so I can check it against my actual leg size?

FWIW, I’m in the skinny ankle boat as well, and I’m super happy with 9E uppers on my 11.5EE/11EE boots.
