Has a Munson lasted boot ever been considered seriously? I know given the situation currently there is no need to make things more complicated but am curious.

It’s funny you mention it, we just picked up a ton of lasts that were used for reproduction military boots from the civil war to WW2. We’re still figuring out what to prioritize but it’s certainly a possibility. What’s weird is a lot of them aren’t US lasts (though some of them are) and those are actually the most interesting, IMO. Stay tuned

It is a general guide, but yes. If you’ve ever had any sort of boot before, however, we generally recommend going with your existing sizing.

Hi Shuyler, you've advised me to go with 8.5E on the 55 last before (I'm 9.5 D/E brannock and my Red Wing size is 8.5D or 8.5E, most of my boots are 8.5 length and I like to go a little wider). I'm interested in an MTO Packer most likely in veg tan, is the sizing the same for the #2 toe vs #1 toe? Also, is there an option to lower the heel by 1 slip (1/4 inch)?

Yep, I would stick with the 8.5E. We don't currently have an option to lower the heel, unfortunately.

All, due to popular demand (@theofficialhung) I've created a dress packer MTO page:

Please let me know if you have any questions or feedback.

Hey Shuyler, I hate to be annoying here but I just got off the phone with Micah asking about my order and to fix some wrong fit info. He said that there is a note about toe cap stitching when I asked him about single row stitch for the midsole instead of standard double. Any chance this could still happen? Can give you my order number on here if you need it again. Thanks.

That’s fine, I will double check on this Monday. It should be for the midsole so not sure where the disconnect was.
