Amazing artist. I love all of his 3/4 time gallows tunes.

He looks like Alejandro Jodorowsky circa The Holy Mountain now.

Not me. But FWIW, he has another book, novel I think, coming out in December. Out of Scotland's Canongate Press.

I have And The Ass, but haven't read it yet. Rollins' publishing house is pitiful though, they really do need to hire a proofreader. Obvious spelling errors ON THE COVER of the book is just unacceptable.

I tried very hard to look like him when I was 18. and spent a ridiculous amount of time tracking down the "Rye Whiskey" flexi that came with some zine in the 80s. My first ebay purchase. I still love that song.

I really, really recommend this book.

It took two seperate readings of the ATASTA to get Cave's intent with the story. I bought the book back when I was 17 or so and between missing some of the underlying themes present (I hadn't had that much of a grasp of Cave's music at that time either) and the pheonetic the narration and dialouge was I just didn't take to it at first.

I eventually went back and reread it about two years ago. I am glad I did because I took a lot more away from it the second time around.

I'll definitely be checking out The Death of Bunny Munro at the end of the year.

I actually managed to pull off the Nick Cave look in high school, 12 years ago. But, I do have his frame and hair, so it was rather easy. When I saw him on the cover of Tender Prey I was like yeah, this is what I need to look like lol

I thought this thread was about Nick Cage for a moment.
