1. Hi. We moved systems, and because it was impossible to achieve feature parity between the systems, we opted to archive the old B&S threads but allow users to read them so that they can put them into our new B&S system.

There is a support thread if you have any issues.

    Cheers,

    Fok.

Nicholas K presented unconventional design at a very reasonable price point. If you want a heritage piece these days, you can basically go anywhere from The Gap to Junya Watanabe runway pieces, but if you want a drape neck jacket you basically have to go to Rick Owens et al. Of course Chronicles of Never (ex-Ksubi) has come up and there's always All Saints, though both suffer from poor quality and uncomfortable closeness to runway designs. This is also unfortunately unique to menswear-- women can find fantastic proportion play and unique silhouettes at H&M. Nicholas K (both the brand and its lovely, eponymous designer) impressed me as a true alternative for men's avant wear.

Like many brands with nontraditional cuts, Nicholas draws from a pretty simple color scheme, choosing to create visual interest through elongated collars and unusual fabric choices (like a velvet-lined sweatshirt of sorts). The pricepoint was surprisingly reasonable; making it a good fit for the independent boutique that actually caters to the artists and musicans that so many obscenely priced brands claim to draw inspiration from.

The aforementioned velvet lined sweatshirt. The lighting makes it hard to see, but it was a standout piece. It has an oversized hood lined and a really nice drape.
