Folks at TimeZone are supplicating themselves to this guy's picture because he is wearing a $300,000 minute repeater Patek.

You'd think he could afford better than an Hermes tie and a suit with shoulder padding that doesn't ripple up.

I would think that particular posture would result in rippled shoulders on just about any suit.

apparent lack of collar stays?

At least his cuff isn't unbuttoned

+1, "working" buttohnoles and the cufflinks telling me a complete different story to blech.

Points for unusual cufflinks and octopus print tie.

Can someone please explain to me why that watch is $300,000? Is it the 'one watch' forged in the pits of Mount Doom?

It's funny, that is same amount of money I am looking at spending right now on my first house...sigh.

It's a minute repeater. I could explain it, but I would not do justice to the work involved. Wiki or google "minute repeater". Some cost much, much more.

I have no choice but to don a solid PS when I wear that kaleidescope of a jacket you sold me!

Ahh good ol' wikipedia. So it makes acoustical noise to tell the time. The perfect church and business meeting watch.

I feel bad that I was not able to get that to you at a lower price

. Let me kow what, if anything, you are currently looking for and hopefully I can track something down for you cheap

Still, no excuse to wear a solid silk pocket square. I'd expect that from David Beckham.

Interesting cuff links.

Are those octopus on the tie? That makes it the greatest Hermes tie I've ever seen.

I disagree. He looks better than most business men in New York City. I don't care for Hermagamo ties either but some people (including great dressers) seem to have a passion for Hermes ties and even collect them

He also dresses much better than the typical collector of fine timepieces. If you've attended a TZ or Purists get-together, you'll know what I mean
