I'm looking for a nice planner/agenda. I prefer a weekly layout. I'm thinking along the lines of Montblanc, but am drawing a blank on other high quality options. Thanks!

April in Paris -- I've not used her personally, but a colleague has and the work looks exquisite. Quite a few people here have used her as well, and recommended.

Louis Vuitton has some great ones in Taiga leather, which is very discreet.

I was thinking of getting one of those to match my taiga brief.

mr monty: I would appreciate suggestions ranging from pocket to desk.

SirGrotius: Louis Vuitton has never been my particular style, but thanks anyway.

Metlin: I checked out her website and requested access to the private section. Thanks for the suggestion!

Loathing: I love the look of the Smythson of Bond Street products. That is definitely a great option! Do you happen to know how their paper gets along with fountain pens?

Also, for a medium or desk sized agenda, I expect it to have hourly lines for the weekdays and not just an open square for each day. 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM is a necessity, 6:00 AM - 7:00 PM would be sensational.

Well, I'll throw out there that Hermes makes them. Personally, I could afford their pocket ones, the larger ones are a little too big-timer for me. My wife was looking at them a few months ago, and they have a variety of 'page refills' from page a day to page per week with a number of variants in between.

Just don't ask about colours they don't have in stock. That can't be discussed at this time.

Thanks, ktrp. I had looked at the Hermes options actually, but didn't find anything particularly wonderful about them to justify the price. It sounds as though you might agree.

Anyone else have any suggestions? Thanks to everyone!

Hermes. I have two different Hermes agendas. You will have them for life. Only problem is buying refills--they go between 1 and 2 hundred. I didn't mind spending money on the agendas but I feel silly every year buying the refills.

The edges are real gold and each is inspected page by page at whatever the French make an hour. I agree. The leather is worth the cost--the paper is overkill.
