Great, but the sad thing is that 99% of the people who see this postcard will have no idea who the dancing man is.

Not true, actually. Astaire's "face recognition" as a brand is still quite high (last time I looked at those numbers anyway) but I doubt the thought even occured at Fosters.

The store on Jermyn actually has one of Astaire's wooden lasts on display in a case in the corner.

Please post a pic. F&S is very tempting. I really like the casual semi-brogue 2310 and the norwegian 2280.

I don't really do pics, and certainly didn't take any at the fitting, but I will try and take some when they arrive. I didn't order anything unusual, though - just a pair of semi-brogue oxfords in a very dark brown.
