I like it. To echo apropos, the first time I wore my Fred Astaire intarsia cashmere sweater almost no one recognized who it was -- perhaps that is due to the sartorial Gehennah that is DC.

Not true, actually. Astaire's "face recognition" as a brand is still quite high (last time I looked at those numbers anyway) but I doubt the thought even occured at Fosters.

The store on Jermyn actually has one of Astaire's wooden lasts on display in a case in the corner.

I don't really do pics, and certainly didn't take any at the fitting, but I will try and take some when they arrive. I didn't order anything unusual, though - just a pair of semi-brogue oxfords in a very dark brown.
