Wow those are nice! What's the width? I'm guessing they're equivalent to either an 11D or an 11.5D? Which would you say they're closer to?

Smaller than a 11.5, *slightly* larger than an 11, D width.

It's a little too big length-wise, even with the tongue pad unfortunately (I didn't attach the tongue pad).

Kronik, if I recall correctly, I think we have similar sizing issues, though it seems you might be more of a true 11D than I am. For us with lower insteps, I find that an English E does not directly translate to an American D. From my experience, albeit it limited, an English E fitting is slightly wider than D (despite claims than an E is basically an American D), so if you have a shoe with an elongated toe, it's better to size 1 whole size down (i.e. a 10E is closer to an 11D, than a 10.5 would be - contrary to the generally thought on this forum of only sizing 1/2 down). It's too bad about the shoes. They're quite nice.

Could you post the length and width (widest point) of the soles?

How does the 82 fit compared to the now-discontinued 808?

I'm a 10/10.5 in the 808 ... and I'm interested.
