Canali's shoes are nicely made and I have seen this pair in person and they look better in the flesh. Campanile does make them and they are one of thse Italian brands that makes a good product but is unheard of here in the States.

EL, I never responded to your email, did I?

Nope, but that's ok. Shoes are still available.

I've seen similar Canali shoes (the higher end) and they are sweet. They do run a bit oddly large, though that seems not too rare with Italian shoes, I guess.

I think these would make great spring/summer shoes. Someone should buy them! Sadly not my size.

Thanks chorse. I'm thinking the same for spring/summer. They'd look great with some cream or even navy linen trousers or perhaps some colorful Incotex chinos.

Those are nice. They look very much like a pair of Bally Scribes I took a chance on from Ebay - they turned out to be really nice and not 'clunky' at all which was the general impression I got from the Scribes I saw in the shops. Sleek outline, with Norwegian type welt/stitching, whatever you call it.
