They should get rid of the game, the skills competition, the whole shebang. The Patriots once had a promising running back who wrecked his knee at a Pro Bowl event.

Speaking of the Patriots. I was watching their game against the Ravens on TV yesterday while simultaneously following it on Yahoo Sports. On screen the Ravens had just recovered a fumble and were huddling up for the next play. On Yahoo, though, it said the most recent play was an incomplete Lamar Jackson pass to the left. Sure enough, after the players broke huddle on TV Jackson threw incomplete to the left. So that's how I learned "live" TV games are on tape delay.

The NFL doesn't and never has cared about player health. I remember last year Davante Adams getting knocked out. He clearly had a concussion, but he was back in two plays later after clearing protocol. There is no way they could have given him a sufficient evaluation in that time.
