1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

you ever notice how the worst regimes always put nice words like "democracy" and "people's" and "patriots" as if somehow that makes their awfulness a bit better? like "the democratic people's Republic of Korea"

I'm amazed at how well Denver's defense is playing.

If that smiley was on the SF roster we could use it in response to 75% of the posts on this website and it would be totally appropriate

The Pats would be OK if they just embraced their role as the NFL's heel. Instead, we get bunch of yuppies trying to shove their tradition down our throat.

I will be forever grateful to Eli Manning for crapping on the Pats' collective dreams. Twice.

No one can take that away from me.:D

17-0 (when you posted) isn't really a beatdown let alone an epic one. The Patriots brutalizing the Colts was an epic beatdown though.

I wouldn't mind Manning winning the SB, riding off into the sunset, and focusing on his day job of selling pizza

Epic fail, San Diego. How do you give up a first down on 3rd and 17?

    ^^ ^^

A nice win. It would've been even nicer to see the Denver defense, particularly the secondary, hold up for a little bit longer than they did. Hope they can give NE a full 60 minutes.
