I hope the Super Bowl is cold and snowy so that the NFL figures out how stupid of an idea it was to have the game in an outdoor stadium in the Northeast.

Everybody attending the SB can just retreat to Rutt's Hut (home of the fried hot dog) if they get too cold. It's right off route 3!

Don't get me wrong, I love snowy games. Just, not for the Super Bowl.

Hey, nothing* would make me happier than Peyton in a blizzard in the Super Bowl having a huge game and winning MVP.

*unless the Eagles miraculously make the Super Bowl

"You will be allowed to have food in your car and have drink in your car," Kelly said. "And provided you're in the boundaries of a single parking space, you'll be able to eat or drink right next to your car. However, you're not going to be able to take out a lounge chair, you're not going to be able to take out a grill, and you're not going to be able to take up more than one parking space. And it'll all be watched very carefully."

"There will be only three ways for the expected 80,000 ticketholders to get to the game. The committee will charter buses called the Fan Express, which will cost $51 and pick up and drop off passengers at nine locations around the region. Fans can also take N.J. Transit to the MetLife Stadium stop or be dropped off by vehicles that must have parking passes and remain in stadium lots during the game."

"There will be fewer than 13,000 parking spots available to fans."

Real football is played outdoors no matter the weather. It's about time the Superbowl recognized this fact.

Maybe, but the price of Superbowl tickets includes the experience in addition to the football. Most people don't particularly care to be wet and cold while watching a game (especially if it's not your team playing in the game to begin with and a fair amount of people go to the Superbowl regardless of who is playing).

I care very little about the comforts of people who can afford Superbowl tickets.

My friend got selected in the lottery for season ticket holders in 2011 and it cost him 1,500 per ticket to go at face value (airfare, hotel, etc). It's probably a once in a lifetime opportunity but that is a lot of money.
