True, and unfortunately it's not going to bode well for the team as the season progresses. Missed the game because I'm out of the country. Not pleased with the outcome.

Rice deserves to get cut and banned, but why do it now? We all already know what he did, but why does it somehow finally spur the right action when the video of the punch is finally released??! Is it now worse all of a sudden?

Rice implied that his wife was the aggressor, which is now clearly untrue. It's an obvious move for Baltimore to make for PR reasons.

Janay Palmer is finally breaking her silence about the video showing Ray Rice beating the crap out of her in a hotel elevator -- defending Ray and blaming the media.

In a post from her Instagram page Tuesday morning, and verified by the Baltimore Sun, Janay Rice writes, "I woke up this morning feeling like I had a horrible nightmare, feeling like I'm mourning the death of my closest friend. But to have to accept the fact that it's reality is a nightmare in itself."

She continued, "No one knows the pain that the media & unwanted options from the public has caused my family. To make us relive a moment in our lives that we regret every day is a horrible thing. To take something away from the man I love that he has worked his ass of for all his life just to gain ratings is horrific."

Rice ended the post by saying, "THIS IS OUR LIFE! What don't you all get. If your intentions were to hurt us, embarrass us, make us feel alone, take all happiness away, you've succeeded on so many levels. Just know we will continue to grow & show the world what real love is! Ravensnation we love you!"

She wasn't the aggressor in the elevator. There seems to be a new tape that shows much more(prior to the KO) and has audio.

Mr. Kraft, you are awesome and I support your team but maybe keep your mouth zipped when talking about players and their extra-curricular activities

You seriously believe the Patriots did not know about Aaron's questionable character? Please. Of course the Patriots would never admit they noticed things during practice, or in the locker room that would tell you Aaron had problems. I bet privately Brady would tell you he was scared shitless of him.

NFL teams go through an extensive background check, and will let some guys slide depending on the upside.

Yeah, the Patriots knew Hernandez had some issues and gave him a chance anyway. You'd have to be a total conspiracy theorist to think they drafted him and gave him a big contract knowing he was a murderer. Once the facts came out and we all knew what he had done, the team cut bait, took the cap hit and got out. Didn't take 4 months to do it either.
