So I'm getting tired of trying to read news on my phone (crappy service on train) and don't think the newspaper would be delivered by time I leave the house in the morning. What do you think is the best news magazine that would offer the bets bang for the buck on a variety of issues (Economist, Time, US News and World Report, etc)?

The Economist is great because it has a ton of short articles ideal for shorter commutes. It also has a lot of longer articles. It's a great magazine to work through over the course of a week. The Week is also a good magazine. A lot less articles so it may be good for shorter commutes.
