Oscar, here is a detailed shot of the studs:

Looks great! What made you choose cummerbund over vest? I’m looking over options for my own commission this year but have decided for a vest, maybe db

Finally back in Chicago at long last for my own fittings. I hope to post up an update later on the Despos thread

Nice! I'm interested to hear whatcha got. I am vacillating on some swatches right meow.

However, this one is my current frontrunner:

I have a DB in a pattern almost exactly like that, that I need to replace. Really really like it. What's the weight?

10oz. It is a really cool fuzzy open weave fabric - like flannel and fresco had a baby (as Chris described it).

So is that for spring summer or fall winter? I’d also do that fabric in db with patch pockets.

Spring / Summer.

Here are a couple of other fabrics from that same book (click for mega pics):

And a repeat of the top:

Something a little different. I find fresco can be a bit flat, and this has a much more textured feel - which I find can be lacking in summer fabrics.

I like your first choice, but could see how you could get more versatility from the second. I will have to see them while I'm here

Yes, sold on the first - just may also get the second. I'm ordering two suits this time around - more difficult to justify the travel costs with only one order.

Why not taupe or tan for the second suit?
