Hello there,

I recently bought a couple of Thom Browne blazers, and they both have the signature pull tab on the back of the neck. Am I supposed to remove that, or keep it and let friendly strangers keep reminding me that I should remove it? :)

This is what I mean:

I left mine on the only TB jacket I own that has it, could have cut it. It's your jacket anyway, you can cut off the sleeves if you want.

If you don't like, remove it. But it is meant to be there.

Grandma: "Honey, you know you have a label hanging off your jacket don't you?"
YCSeattle: "Yes, Grandma I know. It's supposed to be there?"
Grandma: "It is? Clothes today are sure different than when I was growing up."
YCSeattle: "Yes Grandma."

:)

Leave it on. Yes people will comment on it. Just make it part of the fun of having a signature emblem on a designer piece.

The problem with the tag is it curls up and looks ridiculous after about an hour of wear.
Chopped mine when I owned TB coats.

It looks tacky. I would take it off. Regardless of how much you have spent visible labels on men are tasteless. Some times I see TB jackets on deep discount but those tabs always turns me off.

Leave it, otherwise nobody will know how much you paid for the jacket.
