Hi All,

I am new to this forum. I've been viewing the various posts for weeks now. I feel as if I know everyone here (such as L.A. Guy, C.T. GUY, AlanC, Alexis and etc.).
I've bought an entire wardrobe and I am in need of some alterations. So you can imagine, I need an excellent tailor in my life. Any recommendations in the Los Angeles Area?

Thanks

he does all my alterations now and has never messed up. he does take his time though, so if it's a rush job, i'd call him first.

Charles is in a strip mall on the corner of Olympic and LaPeer. He is the best.

anyone know of a good tailor in the Pasadena area?

i usually go to my local dry cleaner for basic alterations like shortening pant length but now i need to take in/out the waist on some pants i got off eBay and it looks to be a little more difficult.

thoughts?

not actually in Pasadena, but close...

Tony the tailor in Alhambra, on Las Tunas right near the corner of Mission Dr is great. has performed miracles for me over the past almost 10 years.

Sorry to bump such an old thread, but I thought it might be more polite than starting yet another new one.

Has anything changed on the LA tailoring scene?

I could use a good person for some pretty heavy alterations, and a recommendation for a good bespoke maker, if there are any in the LA area.

Thanks!

Caior Custom Tailor in San Marino California. They also make bespoke and MTM and have done fantastic jobs for me in the past although they are expensive. However 'Joe' will tell you how much it will cost and can explore cheaper options for you.

You can try the Andover Shop, also in San Marino.

I pass by this place often. Do they make suits, or just alterations?

As far as I know, just alterations. Parking's a b****, and things always seem very hectic and chaotic inside. Susan is great, however.
