fashion newbie here. been looking to upgrade my casual wardrobe, and i have put together a few outfits.

i was curious, does this outfit flow together?

i plan to get any adjustments done at the local tailor. i'm a fairly skinny person, 5'7, 135 lbs.

thanks.

would a lighter shade of khaki look better with the jacket? or a different color all together? also, what shade of brown shoes would do best? a more traditional brown, oxblood, tan? is the peach tie too subtle?

I'm not sure I'd ever describe a peach-coloured tie as 'subtle'. And I'm not sure what 'too subtle' would even mean in this context. The tie doesn't strike me as being particularly casual though, if you're going for a casual look then a more casual tie might be a good idea.

The outfit might look okay, providing the coat fits well; a different colour trouser that's less similar in colour to the coat might look better though.

This is not too bad. I absolutely hate striped hanks, and I think your tie and shirt are a bit too dressy for the rest. The blue BD in the jacket photo is a great thing to pair with it, and the color of the tie is fine, but a woven neat pattern is too dressy for the coat. Shoes should be darker brown or burg.

Most of the time, you'll feel more comfortable with "too subtle" as you go through the day, and more uncomfortable with (even slightly) "too much."
