New York shop advice

Hello guys

I´m going to the states for my first time now in December and will stay in NY, Broadway.
My plan is to change my account from debit to credit over these 5 days and fill up my closet with some goods. I have allready decided to buy Alden Indy but i havent decide other brands.

Im looking for some stores to check out over there both for cloths and shoes.
I´m looking for some casual cloths both vintage and modern in the middle price range, no 4 digit price marks

Could you be so nice to advice the novice tourist from Iceland ?

Enjoy NY. Check out APC on Mercer, Billy Reid on Bond, and just walk up and down Madison Ave from like 40th street to the 80's. Non stop shopping.

Try the Pizza at John's on Bleeker.

bespoke trousers, shirts and blazers can all be had for less than 4 figs

For resale and vintage hit Tokio7 on East 7th (I think) and INA on Bleecker between Lafayette and Bowery - I've picked up absolute steals from both. Leffot on Christopher is a must for shoes, even if you're just looking. If you're a Paul Smith fan then the sale shop on Frand in Williamsburg is worth getting on the L train for. Plus I second all the recommendations above - especially Madison Ave, where a man with even a mild interest in clothes could bankrupt himself with ease.
