We just had a child so it's very hard to plan trips at the current moment. I wanted to get him something he can unwrap and would love. He does have the ability to buy himself his own things but I thought for the moment now it would be sweet if I buy him something in his interest. He could never have enough clothes/shoes. Maybe get him a Gitman shirt or Tom ford fragrance ?

Hire a baby sitter to take care of the kid, hire a chef to come home and cook you both a sumptuous meal. If there is $$$ left over, hire an exotic dancer to come your home and after she leaves, give him your own special "gift".

Worked for me, (US) bought a Dick leather. Hopefully if the fit doesn't work out I can get a refund of the $65 in sales tax

I think it only works for U.S customers.

Aren't we all US customers? Why would anyone shop the other country's sites unless they offered more items or cheaper?

Items on some Yoox EU sites are often cheaper.

Can I assume that Italian made stuff is cheaper on the Italy site? I just checked one item and it was not the case.

Yes, but once they start cutting prices it sometimes swings to the US site's favor.
