Being in HK, I was planning on hopping over to get a
single button peak-lapel black suit made. Other than
those two specifications I haven't really made up my
mind yet. How wide should my lapels be? (My shoulders
aren't that broad) Shall I get no belt loops -> braces
for my trousers? 3 piece?

Well, given last NYE it was 45C in Sydney, very little. Very casual 11pm-4am celebrating (so probably shorts and tee) and nude after that till midday on NYD. Then big prestige cuvee champagne lunch with mates drinking Krug, Cristal, Salon, Dom, Selosse, Egly-Ouriet, Dom, Pol Winston Churchill etc.

Lacoste shirt.

Poplin shorts, or if chilly, linen trousers.

At the stroke of midnight, boxers. I no longer stay up for the party.

As I plan to have fireworks inside the house, I'm planning to wear my bespoke birthday suit.

I might bust out this 1920s tuxedo jacket with insane peaked lapels. I'll be at a hip-hop show and then reconvening with a special someone.
