I like them too. How about a horside chukka in a few months??
They fit very similar to the 2030, I find them to be quite comfortable.
Aesthetically, I really like chukkas. But my last three tries to make chukkas work weren't too successful. I think that for a chukka to work for me, the last/fit/size/width has to be nigh perfect since I'd usually only have two or three eyelets to play with. Hence, I'm really hesitant to try chukkas again unless I actually get to try them on.
It is a little bit, here's a shot from above for comparison.
In reading this thread, a poster threw out $800 for a pair of Vibergs..I did not see any prices listed...Is that the approximate price these MTO boots might be?
Did we decide on the toe cap for the natty CXL? If we vote/pre-order will we have the choice of toe cap or even sans toe cap?
It depends on the makeup. The $800 figure is probably close to what the Gentlemens Shitkicker would cost with the amount of customization it has. Something simple like the Blue Collar shitkicker was estimated to be around $715. In any case, you should expect something in the $715-$800 range.
Looks like around $735 shipped
Based on pic, it's a plain cap toe
And yes, plain cap toe.
Shipped worldwide. The blue collar and bison probably on the lower end. The natural cxl and Cabourn inspired probably $735. The Gsk, If made, about $800.
Thank you all for your replies.....
If I might ask another question which I apologize for if the answer is obvious.A pair of Vibergs boots are $200 or so more than a pair of Carmina boots. I see that their styles are different and more appealing to me but is their quality and their leathers that much better than Carminas or are they priced higher due to higher demand and prestige.
