1. I'd like to announce that animated avatars are now available again. You'll have to reload, but they are once more possible.

We've been doing a ton of work behind the scenes. The site load speed was already under 1/2 of what Huddler's was, on average, and we installed cloudflare, which means that the site should be even faster. A ton more will go on in the weeks and months to come, and some things will be more visibile, and some less.

    Cheers,

    Fok.

And here's the other details of my second test ... look at the line of the lapels and the gracefully on his hip.

Hideous (IMHO) tie fabric used for belt. I initially thought it was the pants waistband that the tie fabric
was used for. So, the pants, per se may not be comical. just the belt.

Nice pictures Gianni - why the dark thread on the yellow pants as opposed to a less contrasting color?

Thanks for your comment .... I wanted them to do with dark seams because I love the contrasts ... and so you see even more all the stitching done by hand ... share? You would have done the seams do yellow and blue, right? They were nice though.

Is there a functional reason to have the pleats stitched down, or is it purely for looks?

These are reinforced "bridge" stitch that help reinforced those seams, the same you get near the side pockets even in RTW trousers (albeit these are "bridge" hand ebroider) and on the pleats they also help keep it down as the pleats are not fixed into the waistband due to the hip/watch pockets.

In inglese a 'bar tack' is the name of this stitch. Gorgeous trousers.

Thanks Gianni - those were indeed my thoughts, but interesting approach.
